Garden hoses fall victim to a variety of predators, including sharp garden tools, crushing cars and mischievous kids. When that happens you may not have to buy a new one. To fix the rip, break or leak in your hose, forget the duct tape (that never really works) and buy an inexpensive hose-repair kit. The idea is simple:Remove the damaged section by cutting both sides of the hose flat. Then, screw the plastic couplings onto each side, and spin the threaded plastic couplings together. Now you can water without getting soaked. |
