Grab the ant spray and give them a blast or two. It's all out war and when it's over and done you wind up throwing food away and cleaning a toxic, smelly mess. But there's other weapons that ants absolutely hate that you'll love because they're clean, non-toxic and totally safe.

Try using soapy water in a spray bottle (ants hate it). Set Fido's dish in a pie pan of soapy water too. Instead of poison powders and toxic sprays use spice rack chili powder instead. Inside or out it's safe, inexpensive, non-toxic and ants avoid it like the plague.
